a reflection beating off a wooden castle

as we ride buses
observing the same faces sitting in the
same seats there are those in limousines, private helicopters and
jets. while 11.4 miles down the road and
36 states east other folks have their hands out
and some sing merrily in subways for a dot of currency.

this is nothing new, we realize, but pondering it deeply could
violate the nature of existence entirely. I'm not kidding.
it could potentially crack all the windows in high-rises
it could quite possibly shatter all the cellphones
it could break down corporate control

it may even defame the most revered
or put the most successful and richest in rags
it could even extract the billions out of the deepest pockets and most sterling of banks; there in Switzerland, Russia, Netherlands, Tokyo.

oh why not just watch out the window and observe the only bird that flies

                              backwards.
