HOW DO YOU MEAN?
they sent me through the system and I came back a specter of someone else, perhaps. this work i endeavor with is personally fulfilling and necessary. BLAH BLAH BLAH. at this point, not a lot to say about the work itself. It should speak its essence – though it’s always a better experience in person. with painting, i often work in a haphazard fashion, grabbing whatever is nearby and makes sense. like a block of ice on a hot, humid day in Connecticut. like 302 buckets of water in an arid desert.

writing? i don’t know. it feels good and serves as a natural accompaniment to painting.

the photographs seem to bridge the gap between design / art and, well, all of it. compositionally, subject, tonality and the like.

WHY NOT.
equally bewildered and amazed by our times, i am often captivated by the idiosyncrasies, vicissitudes and ambiguities inherent with people and our infrastructures. an acute perceptiveness and restlessness fuels the passion and compulsion to create. my work is about feelings and emotions. by tapping into the profoundly personal, i hope to convey the universal. i am mostly self-taught in fine arts. i received my college degree in communications, video productions, some film and tv. marketing minor. there are some correlations somewhere, really.

RAW and UNINHIBITED.
if i manage to captivate or pique someone’s curiosity and move them in some way – I’ve accomplished something. my work could intrigue or rouse some antagonism. No, it’s not merely indulgence, but you knew this.
